About Learner Mobility
Drawing upon active participation in the KA1 Erasmus+ programme, Dante hosts mobility programmes tailored for adult learners. Additionally, we enthusiastically support the idea of sending our learners abroad to expand their educational horizons. Our institution provides a diverse array of courses specifically designed for adult learners. These courses encompass a wide range of subjects, including foreign languages, soft skills, communication, interculturality, time management, career guidance, financial literacy and more, all crafted to meet unique individual needs.
As part of our programme, participants also have the enriching opportunity to immerse themselves in Croatian culture and explore the scenic surroundings of Rijeka, enhancing their overall learning experience. With years of expertise in organising international meetings, training sessions, and conferences in adult education we guarantee the quality and excellence of our programmes.
In our context, an adult learner comprises any adult who, having completed or is no longer involved in initial education or training, engages in non-vocational continuing learning within the organisation.
Learner Mobility courses include the following topics:

Rijeka & Kvarner region
Croatia’s third largest city, Rijeka, lies by the sea on the northern part of the beautiful Adriatic. Rijeka is ideally located between the blue Adriatic and the green mountains in the hinterland.
The city is known for its neoclassical architecture built mostly in the times of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, as well as for its port, the biggest one in Croatia and one of the three largest ports in the Adriatic.
Its buildings, monuments, and culture reflect its history when it was under the influence of numerous countries and former Italian and Austrian rulers. Once the main industrial city, and today the cultural center that has in 2020 received the status of European Capital of Culture, like other famous cities such as Paris, Athens, Madrid, and Dublin.
The whole district is famous for its popular festivals and events (Rijeka Carnival, Opatija Festival of chocolate, etc.) and the local gastronomy, with many original recipes.
