About the project
Adult education is increasingly developing across Europe and in partner countries, resulting in a greater need for quality and broad offer of education programmes. Quality can be achieved by educating teachers and trainers in adult education. The main goal of the SET C. project is to improve adult education in the five partner countries, so as to enrich and further develop teachers’ competencies. The emphasis in project activities is on language teaching methods and the development of teaching methods in the following areas:
- pedagogy and andragogy,
- psychology,
- lifelong learning,
- teaching and learning strategies,
- communication,
- interculturality,
- transferable skills.
Institutions participating in the project want to develop a more modern, dynamic and professional teaching context, open to including good practices and new methods in daily activities, so as to align professional development needs of staff with needs of individuals and the organisation’s goals. Project partners, through mobilities and project activities, will learn about and explore the needs and teaching methods pertaining to individuals with lower qualifications.
