About the project
Within the ENGAGE project, a new integration curriculum is being developed, and through the implementation of the principles and guidelines contained therein, migrant women will be supported as initiators of integration and leaders of their respective migrant communities.
The aims of the ENGAGE project are:
- to develop an individualised, verified “Integration Leader” curriculum for migrant women that supports the acquisition of key skills for the role of integration leader in one’s community;
- to develop a training programme for teachers in adult education and trainers that work with migrants;
- to develop a cascade model of integration where each integration leader that underwent training collaborates with at least 5 migrant women and creates micro-networks;
- to provide tools and resources for the integration of migrants.
By participating in the project, Dante is contributing to the creation of a new, individualised integration curriculum, while also developing an array of resources for training of staff. The goal is to influence migrant women to become integration leaders in their communities, but also teachers in adult education that will provide necessary knowledge and skills to migrants and refugees.
