CQ+ DE-ESCALATING POLARIZATION IN EUROPE

Within the CQ+ project partners will develop a combination of innovative teaching materials and a training programme for teachers in adult education, which will be aimed at reducing polarisation in Europe and providing support to teachers in developing their cultural intelligence and tolerance of diversity.

GOALS

To reduce polarisation in Europe by providing training to adult participants on the topic of cultural intelligence.

RESULTS

• CQ+ interactive infographics – the creation of 20 infographics for supporting adult participants in the development of cultural intelligence. The following topics will be included: 1) My cultural bias – self-evaluation of one’s own cultural bias and tolerance; 2) My culture, my perspective, 3) Cultural awareness and appreciation, 4) Intercultural partnerships.
• Training programme for teachers in adult education – curriculum for teacher training so as to enable the use of different digital resources that are part of the CQ+ interactive infographics, and provide support to participants in the development of their own resources. The training will also include learning about cultural intolerance in Europe, the importance of cultural intelligence, and cultural intelligence in education.
• CQ+ MOOC and the Community of Practice – will encompass all learning materials developed by partners, which will be available to interested parties in any EU member state. The Community of Practice will be hosted on the MOOC platform in order to include all participants in a collective learning process, where everyone can learn from each other and work together.
