DISCOVER & EMPOWER

DISCOVER&EMPOWER project aims to help young adults, known as GEN Y to identify their strengths, interests, and values, explore career options, build confidence, and develop skills necessary to achieve career goals and increase employability. Also, it aims to promote lifelong guidance in our countries, to enhance its integration into lifelong learning structures by providing adult educators with the tools needed to implement CMS, utilizing at the same time certain features of modern ICT.

Partners will implement the following activities:

• develop a portal with 8 most essential CMS learning modules
• career skills assessment tool developed for GEN Y for self-reflection and guidance
• developed self-directed learning resources: WebQuests and quizzes
• develop and test at LTTA Trainer’s manual to deliver all those resources
• A short animation will be developed to attract the attention of GEN Y
• Create local synergies between education sectors at our planned Multiplier Even

Partners will develop the following results:

1. a project portal which will contain:

• 8 modules on main key career management skills of GEN Y
• self-guidance activities through tests for GEN Y
• 8 web quests and 8 quizzes

2. 8 different 1-day workshops
3. Teachers’ manual – a set of 20 hours of workshop-based learning activities and lessons
4. Short training with adult educators
